How much do you charge?
This depends upon location, day, time, and event. We have a wide range of prices, and your custom price is specific to the type of entertainment we create for your event. You may find the DJ pricing info at the CostHelper and The Knot helpful
How much experience do you have?
Over 15 years as a Mobile Party DJ and Wedding DJ and I also was employed as a DJ on KCLA 99.3 and Power 106, mixing and blending dance music. Having done hundreds of successful wedding receptions and party events you can trust that your event will be enjoyed by all.
Are you insured?
Yes. Daniel Seny Mobile DJ Services has a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy to protect you, your guests, and ourselves in the event of accident. Thankfully we’ve never had a need to use it.
Do you require a deposit?
How far in advance do we need to reserve our date?
One good word of advise is to book early! This gives you the comfort in knowing your date is secured.It is best to book your event date 6 to 12 months in advance. We recommend contacting Dan as soon as you know the date of your event to check availability and to reserve your date.
Will we meet before the event?
We love meeting our clients. It gives us an opportunity to discuss and coordinate the schedule and timeline.
What time will the DJ arrive at the venue?
Dan the DJ and the DJ Assistant will arrive 60 to 90 minutes before your scheduled start time to set up for your event. If requested. we can stay beyond the scheduled “end time” for the same hourly rate and we do not take breaks during your event. Continuous music
Why do you have two people working at every event?
Some DJs try to do everything. While this does cut costs, it almost always dramatically reduces the level of entertainment service. There is no comparison to having one verus two people working an event. With two people, events flow perfectly smooth and a much higher level of enthusiasm and interaction is achieved.
Will you also be the Master of Ceremonies (MC)?
Absolutely. For weddings, we will make all the announcements per the wedding planner. For birthday parties, graduation parties, corporate events, etc we will make the proper announcements and use the microphones just enough to keep the dance floor full!
What music genres do you play?
We are versatile and can accommodate a wide range of music styles and tastes: Top 40, Hip Hop, Techno, 80’s, Classic Rock, R & B, Disco, Motown, Oldies, Big Band, Smooth Jazz, Country Western, etc. Over 12,000 song titles; all music genres and party themes
Do you take requests?
Absolutely. When you hire us, we’ll gladly work with you prior to the event to establish what songs and genres you’d like to request and what songs and genres you’d like put on a “no-play list.” Although we travel with a a library of over 12,000 popular songs if you or a guest makes a specific request we can download it via a wireless connection!
What type of equipment do you use?
A professional is only as good as their equipment. That is why we proudly use only the best in professional grade audio and lighting equipment. You’ll appreciate knowing your music is crystal clear without annoying feedback or distortion. Whether you expect 50 or 500 guests, Daniel Seny Mobile DJ Services is committed to fullfilling your music entertainment needs.
How do you dress for events?
Whatever the occasion, we’ll make sure we dress the part. Our usual attire is dressy casual. For most wedding receptions we’ll wear a (suit or tuxedo) black vest with a matching tie that correlates with your wedding colors.
How are you different from other disc jockeys?
We are musicians as well as professional DJs. We are fluent in the many styles of music because we actually play those styles, and a musician’s ear and instinct can’t be beat when behind a DJ console! Our care and concern for your special event is second only to your own. We’re able to bring our experience and expertise from hundreds of performances to your one special night. We make your vision of the perfect celebration a reality.
